The Fishtails born of the need to break sound barriers in Portugal.

Strongly influenced by the mod movement, Pedro Banister and Pedro Temporão  joined in November  2011, drawing the first chords of the band.

From the 60's  R'n 'Blues to Mod Revival of the late '70s, bands like The Kinks, Small Faces, Secret Affair and The Jam, strongly inspired the way to go.

The songs began to boil and in April 2012 come the invitation to give voice to the project, to Francisco Florentino, and for the position of drummer to Helena Fagundes, composing now the actually quartet.

In early October 2012 the band suffered the first "low" for personal reasons, the drummer Helena Fagundes abandons the project.
